My interest in nutrition stems from a background working in the fitness industry for 5 years where I enjoyed training clients and giving them healthy eating advice. This interest led to some volunteer work in the community where I enjoyed running supermarket tours and cooking demonstrations before deciding to study Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in 2012.
I began my career as a dietitian at The Royal Adelaide Hospital where I have encountered many diverse nutrition related conditions and also helped out with planning the new hospital menu. My particular interests in weight management, chronic disease, food allergies and intolerances have led to me recently joining the EvolvME team where I am looking forward to helping people to realise their health goals.
I understand that sometimes the science of nutrition can be difficult to interpret and love working with clients on an individual basis to provide practical strategies towards achieving positive health outcomes.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking for my family and engaging in my favourite type of exercise, boxing.
